Question by: Tommy B on Sep 26, 2025, 3:44 PM
This V20F pump, is it gonna drop right into where my old Vickers pump was?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 28, 2025, 11:35 AM
It should. This V20 series vane pump is designed to be a direct replacement in many applications. Just double-check the specs to be sure it matches your old pump's flow rate and mounting configuration.
Question by: Steve P on Aug 15, 2025, 12:15 PM
pump's got a 12-vane setup listed, but what does that actually do for me out in the field running metal cutting equipment all day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 16, 2025, 6:02 PM
Pressure-balanced vane designs like this one spread the hydraulic load evenly across all 12 vanes, which keeps vibration low and cuts down on the noise you'd hear running a single-vane or fewer-vane setup. For metal cutting applications where you're running the machine through long cycles, that balance also means less pulsation in the flow, so your cutting pressure stays more consistent. Cast iron construction holds up well under the kind of continuous demand that production cutting puts on a pump.
