Question by: Floyd E on Nov 18, 2025, 7:28 AM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM -- is that enough for a mid-size press circuit or would it be cutting it close?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 19, 2025, 4:27 PM
For most mid-size press circuits, 80 litres per minute is right in the working range. The DG4V-3 series is built for demanding industrial press applications specifically, so that flow rating isn't just a peak spec on paper. As long as your system demand stays within that 80 LPM ceiling, you've got solid directional control to work with. Where folks run into trouble is pushing a valve beyond its rated flow, and that's not a concern here if your circuit is sized properly.

Reckon this'll work for a die casting machine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 26, 2025, 6:17 AM
This valve is well-suited for die casting and foundry applications, along with machine tool, marine/offshore, press, primary metal, turbine control, and test and simulation environments.
