flow rate on this unit tops out at 40 litres per minute, that right? trying to figure out if it'll keep up with our press setup without bottlenecking the circuit

For press equipment, that falls well within one of the listed application types, so it's a reasonable fit as long as your system demands don't push beyond that ceiling.
