VICKERS DG4V-3S-2C-M-FW-B5-60-

Description & Features

Rated at 30 watts with Buna-N seals, this solenoid-operated directional control valve is built for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits requiring reliable flow direction management. The Vickers DG4V-3S-2C-M-FW-B5-60- carries CST approval and UL recognition, conforming to the DG4V3-S series specification equivalent to EN492 and EN409 standards. It is classified under Danfoss (Power Solutions II LLC) and falls within the directional control valve category.

This valve is suited for a broad range of applications including machine tool, press, marine/offshore, die casting and foundry, primary metal, paper, turbine control (wind, steam, and water), and test equipment and simulation environments. The product width is 1.88 and it carries an EAR99 export classification, indicating no special export licensing is required for most destinations.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Rod H on Jun 14, 2025, 6:55 AM
valve's rated for 40 LPM -- that enough flow for a standard machine tool circuit runnin continuous cycles?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 16, 2025, 6:07 AM
For most machine tool circuits, 40 litres per minute is a solid working flow rate. Continuous cycling is well within the range this valve handles, and the 30-watt solenoid draw keeps heat generation reasonable during repetitive operation. The Buna-N seals hold up well in standard hydraulic fluid environments, so ongoing duty cycles on a machine tool setup are a practical fit for this unit.
Question by: Ralph M on Jul 19, 2025, 9:18 AM
Will this handle a die casting setup okay?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 20, 2025, 12:43 PM
It's applicable to die casting and foundry work, plus machine tool, marine/offshore, press, primary metal, paper, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control applications.
