Question by: Ross W on Feb 21, 2026, 2:45 PM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 590 litres per minute -- is that enough for heavy press or baler work, or is it pushing the limit for that kind of application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 23, 2026, 7:38 AM
For presses and balers, 590 litres per minute puts this cover well within range for heavy-cycle industrial use. Those are actually two of the core application types this unit was built around, along with die casting machines and steel mill equipment. If your system is running high-demand cycles in that category, the flow capacity here is not a bottleneck you need to worry about.

Wondering if this valve cover would be a direct swap for the one on my plastic molding machine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 13, 2025, 9:36 PM
Use-case-first: For plastics molding, this Vickers valve cover is a solid choice, fitting into presses, die casting, and other similar machines requiring up to 590 LPM flow rates.
