VICKERS DG5V8S2AMUD10

Description & Features

Rated for flow up to 700 litres per minute, the Vickers DG5V8S2AMUD10 is a two-stage directional control valve designed for demanding industrial hydraulic applications. Featuring three- or four-way directional control, it mounts on industry-standard surfaces and is suited to a broad range of service environments including machine tool, press, marine and offshore, die casting and foundry, primary metal and paper, turbine control, and test and simulation systems.

Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility across typical hydraulic service conditions. Part of the DG5V-8 series from Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton, this 10-design valve is built to accommodate the configuration demands of high-flow industrial circuits where consistent directional control is critical.

Question by: Roger P on Aug 3, 2025, 10:03 AM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 litres per minute -- is that actually enough for a high-demand press application or are we gonna be pushing the limits of it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 5, 2025, 6:59 AM
For press applications, 700 litres per minute is a solid ceiling and puts this valve well within range for most high-flow press circuits. It's part of the DG5V-8 series, which is built specifically for demanding industrial environments, and press is one of the named application categories it's rated for. As long as your system isn't consistently running right at that upper threshold, you should have reliable directional control without starving the circuit.
Question by: Tommy J on Jul 1, 2025, 9:17 PM
What kind of fluid seals are on this directional valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 3, 2025, 4:39 PM
Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility across typical hydraulic service conditions.
