Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Kurt G on Jan 23, 2026, 6:52 AM
We run a pretty mixed shop, plastics injection and some die casting work. Is this Vickers pump rated for that kind of use or is it more of a general-purpose unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 24, 2026, 9:40 AM
Both of those applications are squarely in its wheelhouse. The 4525V60A14 is specifically listed for plastics machinery and die casting, along with press machines, machine tools, and a range of other industrial uses. The cast iron housing holds up well in demanding production environments, and the intra-vane cartridge design helps maintain volumetric efficiency even under sustained load. For a mixed shop running both plastics and die casting, this is a purpose-fit choice rather than a workaround.
