The Vickers DG5V 8 S 8C E V M FW B 10 directional control valve is suitable for applications in die casting and foundry work, machine tools, marine and offshore environments, presses, primary metal production, the paper industry, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control for wind, steam and water. This Vickers valve offers three- or four-way directional control and is easily mountable on industry-standard surfaces, with thousands of models available to suit a wide range of applications. This model has a Buna-N seal material and a maximum flow rate of 700 litres per minute.

what all industries is this valve actually built for? got a few different machines and trying to figure out if one part covers more than one application

Die casting and foundry work, machine tools, presses, primary metal production, paper industry, marine and offshore setups, test equipment, and turbine control for wind, steam, and water applications. So yeah, one valve model can realistically serve across several different types of equipment depending on your setup.
