VICKERS DG3V 8 2C 10

Description & Features

Designed for machine tool and general industrial use, the Vickers DG3V 8 2C 10 is a two-stage directional control valve capable of handling flow rates up to 700 litres per minute. It supports three- or four-way directional control configurations, making it adaptable across a wide range of hydraulic circuit layouts.

The valve mounts on industry-standard surfaces, simplifying integration into existing hydraulic systems. Buna-N seals provide reliable performance across common hydraulic fluid types. With a broad model range available within the Dg3V-8 series, this valve suits demanding industrial environments where consistent directional control is required.

Question by: Sheila B on Feb 12, 2026, 5:57 PM
If I'm running this valve at its max flow rate, what kind of maintenance schedule should I be looking at?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 14, 2026, 8:26 AM
Consistent directional control in demanding environments is the main purpose of this valve, but you'll want to keep an eye on your Buna-N seals with that kind of duty cycle to make sure you're not losing pressure or flow.
Question by: Neal M on Mar 10, 2026, 10:34 AM
Flow rate on this thing goes up to 700 litres per minute, that enough muscle for a busy machine tool setup running multiple actuators?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 12, 2026, 8:42 AM
For most machine tool applications, 700 litres per minute gives you plenty of headroom. The DG3V-8 series was built with exactly that kind of demanding industrial work in mind, so running multiple actuators off a busy circuit is well within what this valve is designed to handle. Just make sure your circuit layout matches either a three-way or four-way directional control configuration, since those are the two setups this valve supports.
