Rated for flow up to 95 litres per minute, the Vickers DG4S4018CUH60S324 is a single-stage directional control valve designed for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits. Built on the Eaton Vickers DG4S4 platform, it supports both three- and four-way directional control configurations and mounts to industry-standard surfaces for straightforward integration into existing systems.
Buna-N seals provide reliable compatibility with common hydraulic fluids, while the 30-watt solenoid and 60-design construction suit a broad range of duty cycles. This valve is well suited to applications across machine tool, press, primary metal processing, die casting and foundry, marine and offshore, turbine control, and test and simulation environments. With no special features listed, it represents a dependable standard configuration within the DG4S4 series.

Question by: Marvin M on Nov 11, 2025, 11:19 AM
Reckon this valve'd hold up okay in a die casting setup? We run 'em pretty hard.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 13, 2025, 6:29 AM
Designed for demanding applications, this Vickers directional control valve is well-suited for die casting and foundry environments, as well as machine tools, presses, and primary metal use.
Question by: Glen A on Jan 1, 2026, 7:58 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 95 LPM -- is that enough for a press application or is it gonna be undersized?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 3, 2026, 8:08 AM
For most press circuits, 95 litres per minute is a solid working capacity. Press applications are explicitly listed among the intended uses for this valve, so it's built with that kind of demand in mind. Whether it's enough really comes down to your specific circuit requirements and actuator sizing, but the flow rating puts it in the right ballpark for mid-range press work without being a limiting factor out of the gate.

got a system that needs a single-stage directional valve, is this one a 3-way or 4-way setup
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 22, 2025, 6:00 AM
For function, it falls under three or four way directional control, and it is a single stage directional control valve in the DG4S4-01 60 design family.
