Question by: Rex F on Jun 25, 2025, 4:12 PM
What kind of applications is this valve suited for? I'm seeing a lot of different things listed.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 27, 2025, 3:07 PM
This Vickers valve is good across a range of demanding jobs. You'll find it used in die casting and foundries, machine tools, marine and offshore applications, presses, primary metal processing, paper mills, test equipment and simulation setups, and turbine control systems, both wind and water.
Question by: Floyd C on Jan 26, 2026, 5:54 PM
flow rate on this one says 120 liters per minute -- is that enough for machine tool setups running pretty hard?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 28, 2026, 7:33 AM
For most machine tool applications, 120 liters per minute gives you solid headroom. That flow capacity puts it well above what lighter-duty directional control valves handle, so running demanding machining cycles shouldn't push it to its limits under normal conditions. It's also listed for press and test equipment use, which tells you it's built for situations where consistent flow matters.
