Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Glen B on Sep 6, 2025, 3:56 PM
Flow rate on this one is listed at 40 liters a minute, that enough for press applications or is it gonna be a bottleneck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 8, 2025, 7:49 AM
For most press setups, 40 liters per minute is right in a workable range. Press applications are explicitly listed among the intended uses for this valve, so it's not being stretched outside its design scope. Whether it's sufficient really comes down to your system's demand at peak cycle. If your press runs moderate flow requirements, this should hold up fine without becoming a restriction point.
Question by: Randy H on Apr 5, 2026, 6:58 PM
Can this handle typical hydraulic fluids, or do I need to use something special on account of the Buna-N seals?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 7, 2026, 12:09 PM
Buna-N seals are compatible with many common hydraulic fluids, including petroleum-based oils and some phosphate ester fluids. You'll want to double-check the fluid compatibility charts for Buna-N to ensure proper operation and seal longevity with your specific fluid type.
