Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Danny M on Jun 2, 2025, 12:25 PM
Got a machine that runs injection molding cycles pretty much nonstop through a shift. Is this Vickers PVM045 pump built for that kind of continuous industrial use, or is it more of a light-duty unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 4, 2025, 9:06 AM
Industrial open-circuit piston pumps in this class are built for demanding duty cycles, not occasional use. Injection molding is actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so it fits right in with that kind of workload. Piston pump construction in general holds up well under sustained high-load operation, which is exactly the environment injection molding puts equipment through.
