Reckon this'll hold up okay in a plastic injection molding setup, or should I be lookin' at somethin' else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 4, 2025, 7:50 AM
This Vickers vane pump is definitely up to the task for plastic injection molding, as well as applications like metal cutting, oil and gas, and even heavy-duty stuff like dump trucks and wheel loaders.
Question by: Howard J on Dec 30, 2025, 7:39 PM
What kind of jobs is this pump actually built for? I run a shop and we do a fair bit of metal cutting and need something that holds up.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 31, 2025, 9:15 PM
Metal cutting is one of the core applications this pump was built around, along with plastic injection molding, oil and gas work, and heavy equipment like wheel loaders and dump trucks. The cast iron housing keeps it tough under regular shop conditions, and the Viton seals hold up well against the hydraulic fluids common in those environments. At just over 88 liters per minute flow rate, it moves enough fluid to support the kind of sustained demand metal cutting equipment puts on a hydraulic system.
