Reckon this pump'll hold up in a power steering setup on my old Ford?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 10, 2025, 6:12 AM
This Vickers vane pump is indeed well-suited for power steering applications, as well as for smaller industrial units and presses.
Question by: Dwayne M on Sep 28, 2025, 6:18 PM
Flow rate on this one shows just over 76 liters a minute, is that enough for running a small hydraulic press without it bogging down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 30, 2025, 2:48 PM
For small press applications, 76.27 liters per minute is a solid match. The V2010 series was built with exactly that kind of use in mind, so you're not pushing it outside its intended range. The pressure-balanced vane design also helps keep things smooth under load, which matters when you're cycling a press repeatedly and don't want flow pulsation messing with your pressure consistency.
