Vickers DG4S4W 017C H 60

Description & Features

Designed for three- or four-way directional control in demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG4S4W 017C H 60 is a single-stage directional control valve rated for flow up to 95 litres per minute. With a solenoid wattage of 30W and Buna-N seals, it is suited to a broad range of hydraulic circuit configurations where reliable directional switching is required.

Mounting follows industry-standard surface patterns, simplifying integration into new or existing hydraulic systems. Application coverage is extensive, spanning machine tool, press, primary metal, die casting and foundry, marine and offshore, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control, including wind, steam, and water turbine installations. The Vickers brand, now part of the Danfoss/Eaton portfolio, carries broad recognition in industrial hydraulics, and the DG4S4 series reflects that with a wide range of available configurations.

Will this directional valve fit on a standard surface mount?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 19, 2025, 12:07 PM
This Vickers DG4S4W valve is designed to mount on industry-standard surfaces, which should simplify installation whether you're working with a new or existing hydraulic system.
Question by: Chad M on May 12, 2025, 9:43 AM
Flow rate on this one says 95 litres per minute, that enough for a press application or should I be lookin at something bigger?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 13, 2025, 11:23 AM
For most press circuits, 95 litres per minute is a solid working range. The DG4S4W 017C H 60 is listed specifically for press applications, so it fits right in that use case. Whether it covers your full system demand depends on your circuit design, but the valve itself is built for that kind of work and won't be the weak link at moderate press duty.
