A two-stage directional control valve rated for flow up to 700 litres per minute, the Vickers DG5V 8 S 2A 2 M U D 10 is built for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits that require reliable three- or four-way directional control. Buna-N seals provide broad fluid compatibility across a range of standard hydraulic media.
Designed to mount on industry-standard surfaces, this valve integrates readily into existing hydraulic systems without custom manifold work. Its application range is extensive, covering die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, presses, primary metal and paper machinery, marine and offshore installations, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control systems for wind, steam, and water applications. The breadth of compatible configurations in the DG5V-8 series makes it a practical choice across many sectors where consistent directional control and high flow capacity are required.

Question by: Marvin A on Oct 7, 2025, 3:28 PM
We run a pretty heavy press operation and been looking at swapping out our directional valve for something that can handle more flow. This Vickers rated for what, 700 LPM? That about right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 9, 2025, 12:40 PM
Yeah, 700 litres per minute is the rated flow capacity on that valve. For a press application that's pushing high flow demands, that's a solid amount of throughput. Press equipment is actually one of the listed application types for this model, so it fits right in that kind of environment.
