VICKERS DG4V3S6AMUHL760EN490

Description & Features

Designed for three- or four-way directional control in demanding industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers DG4V3S6AMUHL760EN490 is a single-stage directional control valve rated for flow up to 40 litres per minute with a solenoid wattage of 18W. Buna-N seals make it well suited to a broad range of hydraulic fluids commonly used across heavy industrial environments.

Its standard mounting footprint allows straightforward installation on industry-standard valve surfaces, and the DG4V-3 series encompasses a wide range of configurations to meet varied circuit requirements. Suitable applications include machine tool, press, primary metal, die casting and foundry, marine and offshore, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control systems covering wind, steam, and water turbines.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Daryl W on Feb 16, 2026, 8:14 PM
Flow rate's listed at 40 litres per minute, that enough for a press circuit running moderate tonnage, or is this valve better suited to lighter-duty work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 18, 2026, 6:06 PM
Forty litres per minute puts this valve well within the working range for a good number of press applications, especially where flow demands aren't at the extreme high end. It's a single-stage directional control valve, so it's handling direction, not amplifying force. As long as your circuit's peak flow requirements stay at or below that 40 LPM threshold, you're in a reasonable operating range for press use. The DG4V-3 series was specifically called out for press applications, so that's not a stretch.
