Will this coil work on my refuse truck's hydraulic system?

got a Vickers directional control valve on a refuse hauler and need to swap out the coil -- does this one run straight off 12V DC or do I need to wire in a rectifier somewhere?

No external rectifier needed on this one. Internal rectification is built right into the coil, so you can connect it straight to your 12V DC supply and be done with it. That makes the swap a lot cleaner, especially in tight wiring environments on mobile equipment like refuse haulers.
