Vickers DG5V 8 S 0C E T M FW B 10

Description & Features

Designed for high-flow two-stage directional control, the Vickers DG5V 8 S 0C E T M FW B 10 supports flow rates up to 700 litres per minute and is built for demanding industrial environments. Three- or four-way directional control configurations make it adaptable across a wide range of hydraulic circuit requirements, and its compatibility with industry-standard mounting surfaces simplifies installation into existing systems.

Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility in typical hydraulic applications. This valve is suited for use in press machinery, machine tools, die casting and foundry equipment, primary metal and paper processing, marine and offshore installations, turbine control systems, and test and simulation equipment. The broad application range reflects the DG5V-8 platform's versatility across heavy industrial sectors.

Question by: Lance R on Nov 4, 2025, 8:38 AM
We run a pretty heavy press operation and need something that can keep up with the flow demands. This valve handle up to 700 LPM?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 5, 2025, 5:10 PM
Yeah, 700 litres per minute is the rated flow for this valve, so it's built to handle high-flow press applications without breaking a sweat. The DG5V-8 platform was put together with heavy industrial use in mind, and press machinery is one of the applications it's specifically listed for. If your circuit is running anywhere near that range, you're in the right product family.
Question by: Bonnie W on Jul 30, 2025, 8:27 PM
What kind of machines does this valve typically go on? I'm looking at upgrading some equipment out in the shop.
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 1, 2025, 10:19 AM
It's suited for a lot of heavy-duty stuff. Think press machinery, machine tools, die casting and foundry equipment, and even things like paper processing or marine and offshore setups. Seems pretty versatile.
