Flow rate on this thing tops out at 40 litres per minute, that enough for a press application, or is it gonna be a bottleneck?

For most press circuits, 40 litres per minute is right in the working range. Press applications are actually listed among the intended uses for this valve, so it's not a stretch to put it there. Just make sure your system demand at peak cycle stays within that ceiling and you'll be in good shape.
