Question by: Eddie F on Dec 28, 2025, 6:07 AM
Got a machine that runs injection molding cycles pretty much nonstop. This a pump that can hold up to that kind of constant work, or is it more of a light-duty unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 29, 2025, 8:02 AM
Longer service life is one of the core design priorities for the PVQ series, and this pump falls right in line with that. Injection molding machines are actually one of the listed application types, so it was built with exactly that kind of demanding, high-cycle environment in mind. The PVQ10 also runs at lower operating pressure compared to a lot of comparable pumps, which tends to reduce internal wear over time and keeps things running longer between service intervals.
Question by: Joyce M on Apr 29, 2025, 7:39 AM
Is this pump real noisy when it's running? I gotta keep the decibels down in my shop.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 30, 2025, 7:54 AM
Reduced operating noise is one of the listed features for this Vickers PVQ10 pump.
