Question by: Duane C on Apr 12, 2025, 12:34 PM
We run a metal forming press pretty hard most days. Is this the kind of pump that holds up in that kind of environment or is it more of a light-duty setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 13, 2025, 3:03 PM
Metal forming is actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so it fits right in with that kind of work. The PVQ Series was built with longer service life in mind, which matters when your equipment is running under consistent load day after day. The reduced noise characteristic is a bonus in a shop environment too. It's a Size 10 open circuit piston pump, so as long as your system is matched to that sizing, it should handle the demands of a forming press without issue.
