Question by: Dale T on Nov 21, 2025, 6:45 PM
What kind of machinery is this valve typically hooked up to?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 23, 2025, 10:57 AM
It's designed for directional control on hydraulic systems, so you'll find it on machine tools, presses, die casting equipment, marine and offshore setups, metal processing, test and simulation rigs, and even turbine controls.
Question by: Patty M on Nov 7, 2025, 12:55 PM
Flow rate on this one is listed at 40 LPM, that enough for a press circuit running moderate tonnage, or am I gonna need something beefier?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 8, 2025, 6:08 PM
For a lot of press applications running standard hydraulic circuits, 40 litres per minute handles the job without issue. The DG4V-3 series was built with press work in mind alongside machine tools and die casting setups, so moderate tonnage press circuits are well within its wheelhouse. If your system demands significantly higher flow, you'd want to look at a larger valve in the DG4V lineup since this one is rated at 40 LPM and that's the ceiling to work within.
