Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Roger O on Oct 5, 2025, 6:08 PM
Flow rate on this one shows 40 liters per minute, that enough to run a decent-sized press circuit without choking things out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 7, 2025, 6:30 AM
For most press applications, 40 liters per minute gives you solid working capacity without creating restriction issues downstream. The valve is rated and built for press use right alongside die casting, machine tool, and primary metal environments, so it's not just capable of it, that's one of its core application areas. Just make sure your system demand at peak load stays within that 40 LPM ceiling and you should be in good shape.
Question by: Neil M on Mar 13, 2026, 3:35 PM
What kind of machines is this valve typically used for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 14, 2026, 8:39 PM
This Vickers valve is commonly found in die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, marine and offshore applications, presses, primary metal processing, paper industries, and even turbine control systems.
