viton seals on this thing, does that mean it'll hold up alright with most standard hydraulic fluids, or are there certain ones it won't play nice with?

Viton is one of the better seal materials for hydraulic use. It handles a wide range of fluids without breaking down, including most mineral-based oils and a good number of synthetic hydraulic fluids. That broad compatibility is part of why it gets specified on pressure control valves like this one. Just make sure whatever fluid you're running is generally rated for Viton compatibility and you should be in good shape.

Can this handle hydraulic fluids other than just standard oil?
