Question by: Hank F on Sep 23, 2025, 9:47 AM
flow rate on this one goes up to 94 litres per minute, that right? trying to figure out if it'll keep up with what we're running on our press line
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 25, 2025, 6:54 AM
94 litres per minute is correct for this valve. For press applications specifically, that flow capacity puts it well within reach of most mid-range press hydraulic circuits, and the DG5S4 series is actually listed as suitable for press environments, so you're looking at the right product family for that kind of work.

What kind of machines would something like this typically be hooked up to?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 13, 2025, 3:48 PM
This directional control valve is commonly found in die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, presses, and even marine or offshore applications. You'll also see it in primary metal processing, paper production, test equipment, simulation setups, and turbine control systems, including wind, steam, and water turbines.
