Question by: Shawn W on Apr 6, 2025, 3:10 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 115 liters per minute, that enough for a press application or should I be looking at something bigger?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 8, 2025, 10:07 AM
For most press setups, 115 liters per minute is a solid working figure and falls right in line with what Vickers built this valve to handle. Press is actually one of the listed application types for this model, so you're in the right category. Whether it's enough depends on your system's demand, but the flow capacity here is genuinely suited for that kind of work, not just rated for it on paper.

Reckon this valve could handle steady use in a machine shop environment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 4, 2025, 1:53 PM
For machine tool applications, this Vickers directional control valve should perform well. It's also used in settings like die casting, foundries, marine and offshore environments, and paper mills.
