Designed for demanding industrial applications, the Vickers PVQ13-A2R-SE1S-20-C14V11P-13 is a Size 13 open circuit piston pump from the Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton PVQ Series. Built to handle the rigorous duty cycles common in metal forming, metal cutting, and injection molding equipment, it is equally well-suited for use in mining machinery, oil and gas equipment, conveyor lines, and primary metals processing.
This pump is engineered for reduced operating noise and lower operating pressure, characteristics that contribute to longer service life in continuous-duty installations. As an open circuit design, it is compatible with standard hydraulic system configurations where return flow goes back to the reservoir. The PVQ Series is a well-established platform within the Vickers product line, recognized for reliability across a broad range of industrial fluid power applications.

Can you run this hydraulic pump all day long or is it more for like, short bursts?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 26, 2025, 12:42 PM
This Vickers PVQ series pump is designed for demanding industrial applications that often involve continuous duty cycles. It's built to handle the kind of work you'd see in metal forming, cutting, or injection molding, so running it all day shouldn't be a problem.
Question by: Peggy G on Sep 4, 2025, 6:48 AM
We run injection molding machines pretty much around the clock. This a pump that can hold up to that kind of continuous duty, or is it more of a light-use unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 6, 2025, 6:26 AM
Continuous industrial duty is exactly what the PVQ Series was built for. Injection molding is actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so it fits right in with that kind of workload. The design emphasis on lower operating pressure and reduced noise both point toward a pump that's meant to go the distance in hard-running environments rather than one that's sized for occasional use.
