VICKERS PVQ40 B2R SS2F 20 CM7 12

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Vickers PVQ40 B2R SS2F 20 CM7 12 is an open circuit axial piston pump built to deliver reliable hydraulic power across a broad range of heavy-duty applications. Its construction supports reduced operating noise and lower operating pressure, contributing to longer service life in continuous-duty installations.

This pump is well suited for use in metal forming and metal cutting equipment, injection molding machines, conveyor lines, oil and gas equipment, primary metals processing, and mining machinery. Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, it reflects the engineering standards associated with the PVQ series of industrial open circuit piston pumps.

Question by: Eddie E on Apr 6, 2026, 5:01 PM
got a conveyor line that runs pretty much all day long, would this pump hold up to that kind of continuous use?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 7, 2026, 7:39 PM
Continuous-duty is exactly where the PVQ series tends to earn its keep. The design specifically targets longer service life, and lower operating pressure is part of how it gets there. Less stress on internal components over long run cycles means you're not replacing it nearly as often as you might with a lesser pump. Conveyor line work is one of the named applications for this unit, so it fits right in that kind of environment.
Question by: Rod R on Aug 15, 2025, 10:49 AM
What kind of machines does this piston pump typically go in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 17, 2025, 6:53 AM
It's well-suited for heavy-duty applications like metal forming and cutting equipment, injection molding, conveyor lines, oil and gas, primary metals processing, and even mining machinery.
