VICKERS PVQ40AR02AA30J01000001AA100CD0A

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial applications, the Vickers PVQ40AR02AA30J01000001AA100CD0A is an open circuit piston pump built for high-cycle environments where reliability and consistent output are critical. Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, this pump is suited for use in metal forming machines, metal cutting equipment, injection molding machines, conveyor lines, primary metals processing, oil and gas equipment, and mining machinery.

The PVQ Series is engineered to deliver reduced operating noise and lower operating pressure compared to conventional piston pump designs, contributing to longer service life in continuous-duty industrial settings. With a product width of 7.77 inches and a net pack quantity of one unit, it is supplied individually and carries an estimated lead time of 110 days.

Question by: Gene B on Feb 22, 2026, 9:10 PM
pump's been running hot and making more noise than I'd like on our metal forming line, would something like this PVQ40 be a step in the right direction as far as quieter, cooler operation goes?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 24, 2026, 6:35 AM
The PVQ Series was built with exactly that kind of problem in mind. Compared to conventional piston pump designs, it runs at lower operating pressure and produces less noise during operation. Both of those characteristics tend to reduce heat buildup and mechanical stress over long duty cycles, which is a common pain point on metal forming equipment running hard shifts. For a high-cycle line where the pump rarely gets a break, that combination of lower pressure and reduced noise usually translates into longer service life as well.

Reckon this thing'll hold up in a metal cutting shop runnin' near constant?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 7, 2026, 1:30 PM
This Vickers PVQ series pump is built for high-cycle industrial environments, so metal cutting equipment is right in its wheelhouse. Should provide consistent output and a long service life if properly maintained.
