Question by: Shane W on Jun 24, 2025, 10:04 AM
Flow rate on this thing is listed at 375 liters per minute, is that kind of output typical for what they'd run in a press machine or die casting setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 26, 2025, 6:59 AM
For press and die casting applications, that level of output is well within the range those environments demand. High-cycle press machines and die casting equipment put serious hydraulic load on a pump, and the 4525VQ series was built with exactly that kind of duty in mind. Cast iron construction helps it hold up under the sustained pressure and speed those use generate, so you're not looking at a pump that's going to be stressed running in those conditions.

Reckon this'll hold up in a plastics plant environment? We get some pretty high temps in the summer.
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 25, 2025, 9:59 AM
Built for high-pressure, high-speed jobs, this Vickers 4525VQ series vane pump is made from cast iron with Buna-N seals, designed for durability.
