Question by: Wade G on Apr 5, 2026, 12:27 PM
What kind of work is this valve really meant for? I see a few things listed.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 6, 2026, 6:07 PM
It’s suitable for quite a range of heavy-duty applications, from die casting and metal processing to marine environments and even turbine control for power generation. So, pretty versatile.
Question by: Dale P on Jun 7, 2025, 9:48 AM
Flow rate on this thing is listed at 300 liters per minute, that enough to keep up on a die casting setup running pretty hard?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 9, 2025, 8:43 AM
For die casting applications, 300 liters per minute is a solid flow capacity. That puts it well within range for demanding cycle work where you need consistent directional control without starving the circuit. The valve is explicitly rated for die casting and foundry environments, so it's built with that kind of load in mind. The two-stage design also helps manage that volume more smoothly than a single-stage valve would at comparable flow levels.
