What kind of seal material does this valve use, and is that gonna hold up alright in a standard machine tool setup?

Buna-N seals are what you get with this one. For general machine tool environments, that's a pretty common and reliable choice. Buna-N handles typical hydraulic fluids well and is a workhorse material in industrial settings, so it fits right in with standard shop applications.

Can this valve handle hydraulic fluid with a little bit of gunk in it, or does it need to be super clean?
