VICKERS KBDG5V-7-33C170N-X-H-M1-PE7-H1-1

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial applications, the Vickers KBDG5V-7-33C170N-X-H-M1-PE7-H1-1 is a proportional directional control valve with on-board electronics (OBE), offering a rated flow of 170 litres per minute. Fluorocarbon seals make it suited to use with a wide range of hydraulic fluids in high-performance environments.

Typical application areas include machine tools, presses, die casting and foundry equipment, marine and offshore systems, primary metal processing, test and simulation rigs, and turbine control for wind, steam, and water installations. The integrated electronics package simplifies installation, reduces the likelihood of component selection errors, and supports optimized valve performance without requiring separate external amplifier cards.

Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, this valve is part of the KBDG5V-7 series and carries a product width of 3.65. It is suitable where precise, repeatable proportional flow control is required across a broad range of industrial machinery and process equipment.

Question by: Hank J on Mar 18, 2026, 12:19 PM
we run a press line that needs solid proportional flow control and I keep hearing about valves with built-in electronics being easier to set up, is that what this one does?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 20, 2026, 8:54 AM
Built-in electronics are exactly what separates this valve from older setups that need a separate amplifier card wired in somewhere else on the panel. The on-board electronics handle the signal conditioning right at the valve, which cuts down on the wiring runs and takes the guesswork out of matching external components. For a press application, that also means fewer points where a selection or installation mistake can creep in. The rated flow comes in at 170 litres per minute, so it's got the capacity for demanding press duty.
