Description & Features

The VICKERS-KCG-3-L350D-Z-M-U1-HL1-10 is a proportional valve designed for demanding applications, including die casting, foundry work, machine tools, marine and offshore environments, presses, primary metal processing, paper mills, test equipment, simulation setups, and turbine control systems (wind, steam, and water).

This Vickers proportional valve features direct-acting operation and facilitates reduced commissioning time through plug-and-play functionality. Available in three performance levels (ultra, high, and standard) to suit a variety of application requirements. It has a 5 liter per minute flow rate, a 1.88-inch width, and uses Buna-N seals.

Question by: Keith H on Jun 17, 2025, 2:45 PM
Flow rate on this one is listed at 5 liters per minute -- that gonna hold up runnin it on a machine tool setup, or is that more of a light-duty number?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2025, 2:05 PM
Five liters per minute is a real flow figure, not a peak or burst rating, so what you get is consistent output suited for precision-controlled applications like machine tools. That kind of environment calls for steady, repeatable flow rather than high volume, and this valve fits that profile well. It's also listed for test equipment and simulation setups, which tend to have similarly tight flow demands, so the 5 LPM spec is right at home in those conditions.
Question by: Darryl H on Feb 13, 2026, 9:31 PM
What kind of environments is this valve meant to handle? Seems like a lot from the description.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 15, 2026, 4:13 PM
It's designed for tough spots. Think die casting, marine work, paper mills, even turbine controls.
