Does this coil need an external rectifier, or does it handle that on its own? Running AC supply on our harvester setup and want to make sure we ain't missing a component before we order.

Internal rectification is built right into this coil, so no external rectifier is needed. It takes the AC supply and converts it internally to the stable DC signal the valve needs to respond consistently. One less part to source and one less potential failure point in the circuit.
