Question by: Chad W on Apr 5, 2026, 9:58 AM
We run a press system that needs a proportional valve handling pretty high flow, somewhere around 300 LPM or so. This one rated for 330 litres per minute, is that right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 6, 2026, 2:24 PM
Yeah, 330 litres per minute is the rated flow for this valve, so you've got a little headroom above your 300 LPM requirement. It's a direct-acting proportional valve, which means no pilot stage to fuss with, and it's been put to use in exactly the kind of press system you're describing. Fluorocarbon seals handle a wide range of hydraulic fluids, so compatibility there is usually straightforward.

reckon this'd be alright for controllin' the hydraulics on a die casting machine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 6:31 PM
For die casting and foundry equipment, this Vickers proportional valve should work great. It's also good for machine tools, marine stuff, metal processing, paper stuff, and test rigs.
