Can this handle gettin' splashed with saltwater on a regular basis?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 7, 2025, 11:08 AM
Designed for applications like marine and offshore use, this valve should hold up just fine in a saltwater environment.
Question by: Rex P on Oct 13, 2025, 1:07 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 40 liters per minute -- is that enough for typical press or machine tool setups, or do most folks find they need something higher capacity?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 14, 2025, 1:54 PM
For a good share of press and machine tool applications, 40 liters per minute is right in the working range. It's not a high-flow valve, so if your circuit demands are pushing past that threshold you'd want to size up, but for moderate-duty machine tool work and a lot of press setups it handles things just fine. The three- or four-way directional control also gives you some flexibility in how the circuit is configured, which helps in situations where flow demands shift depending on the operating mode.
