EPV16-A-06-12D-S-U-13

Description & Features

Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic systems, this poppet-style proportional valve from Vickers by Danfoss supports rated flows up to 160 L/min (42 USgpm), with a configured flow rate of 60 litres per minute. Operating at 12 volts, it suits demanding applications including harvesters and refuse haulers where precise, proportional flow control is required.

The EPV16-A-06-12D-S-U-13 is part of the EPV16 Series, a line built around compact packaging and layout flexibility, making it well-suited for equipment with limited installation space. The poppet construction contributes to reliable sealing performance and consistent valve response across duty cycles typical of mobile equipment.

Supplied by Danfoss Power Solutions under the Vickers sub-brand, this valve is stocked as a single unit and carries a lead time of 30 days.

Question by: Scott W on Oct 17, 2025, 3:24 PM
we run a fleet of refuse haulers and been hunting for a proportional valve that won't eat up a ton of real estate on the machine, does this one package pretty tight?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 19, 2025, 6:03 AM
Compact packaging is actually one of the stronger points of the EPV16 Series. It was built with limited installation space in mind, so equipment like refuse haulers where you're working around a lot of competing components tends to be a good fit. The poppet-style construction keeps the unit tight while still delivering reliable, consistent valve response through the kind of hard duty cycles that mobile equipment sees day in and day out.

Is this valve something I can just drop in to replace a Vickers EPV16 that went bad on my truck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 22, 2026, 12:33 PM
For direct replacement purposes, the EPV16-A-06-12D-S-U-13 is part of the Vickers EPV16 Series, so it should fit right in. Just confirm the voltage (12V) and flow rate (60 liters per minute) match your existing valve.
