Wondering if this valve will hold up in a marine environment, you know, with all the salt air and whatnot?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 23, 2026, 8:46 AM
Designed for demanding applications, this Vickers valve is indeed suitable for marine and offshore environments, among others.
Question by: Freddie B on Mar 7, 2026, 6:31 AM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 litres per minute, is that enough for press or die casting work where you're pushing pretty hard?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 9, 2026, 6:25 AM
For those kinds of applications, 700 litres per minute is a solid capacity. Die casting and press use are both explicitly listed as supported applications for this valve, so it was built with that level of demand in mind. Whether your specific system stays within that ceiling depends on your circuit design, but the valve itself is rated to handle what those environments typically throw at it.
