Hey, can this here valve cover handle fluids besides just regular hydraulic oil? I got some machines running on some pretty harsh stuff.
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 13, 2025, 7:36 PM
Viton seals are used in this Vickers valve cover because they offer good resistance to a wide range of hydraulic fluids, plus they hold up well at different temperatures.

what kind of machines is this cover actually built for? seen it listed a few places but nobody really breaks down the use cases

Presses, plastics molding machines, die casting equipment, shears, balers, machine tools, and metal forming machinery are all well within scope for this cover. It also fits steel mill and primary metal processing setups, plus mobile vehicle and marine applications. Basically anywhere you've got a medium to high pressure hydraulic circuit pushing serious flow, this cover was built with that environment in mind.
