flow rate on this one says 120 litres per minute -- is that enough for most machine tool setups or is it on the lower end?

For the majority of machine tool hydraulic circuits, 120 litres per minute is solid. Most standard machine tool applications run well within that range, so you're not going to be bumping up against the ceiling in typical use. Where you'd start pushing limits is in high-flow multi-actuator systems, but for general industrial and machine tool work, that rating covers a wide range of real-world setups without issue.
