VICKERS DG5V8S2AEMUD10

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG5V8S2AEMUD10 is a two-stage directional control valve offering three- or four-way flow control with a rated flow capacity of 700 litres per minute. Its Buna-N seal construction makes it well-suited to a wide range of hydraulic fluids used across heavy industrial applications.

This valve mounts readily on industry-standard surfaces, supporting straightforward integration into existing hydraulic circuits. Applicable across a broad range of sectors, including die casting and foundry, machine tool, press, marine and offshore, primary metal and paper processing, turbine control, and test and simulation equipment, it provides the directional control flexibility needed in complex, high-demand systems. The Vickers product line spans thousands of model configurations, allowing selection to match specific flow, pressure, and circuit requirements.

Question by: Daryl R on Oct 24, 2025, 6:54 PM
If I'm running one of these in a marine hydraulic system, what kind of seal life can I expect?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 26, 2025, 8:16 AM
With its Buna-N seals, this directional control valve will work well with most common hydraulic fluids used in marine and offshore environments. However, seal life depends heavily on the specific fluid, operating temperature, and duty cycles within your system. Regular inspection is always recommended.
Question by: Vince M on Apr 6, 2026, 4:42 PM
Flow rating on this thing says 700 litres per minute, that enough muscle for a heavy press or die casting setup runnin full bore?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 7, 2026, 8:31 PM
For high-demand press and die casting applications, 700 litres per minute is a serious flow capacity. That puts it well within range for heavy industrial circuits where you need strong, reliable directional control without the valve becoming a bottleneck. Die casting and foundry work is actually one of the listed application areas for this valve, so it fits right in with that kind of workload.
