Question by: Brent B on Jun 19, 2025, 3:43 PM
Can this handle the kinda work you see around a metal foundry, or is it more for lighter duty stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 21, 2025, 7:21 AM
Designed for demanding applications, this Vickers valve can be used in die casting and foundry work, as well as machine tools, marine environments, presses, metal production, paper mills, test equipment, and turbine control systems.
Question by: Billy G on Oct 26, 2025, 4:49 PM
flow rate on this one is listed at 60 LPM, that enough for press applications or is it gonna be a bottleneck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 28, 2025, 6:43 AM
For most press setups, 60 liters per minute is a workable flow rate and falls within the range this valve was built to handle. Press is actually one of the listed application types for this unit, so it's not just theoretically compatible, it was spec'd with that kind of duty in mind. Whether it's sufficient depends on your system's demand, but the valve itself won't be the weak point if you're operating within that flow ceiling.
