Question by: Harold C on Jun 21, 2025, 3:51 PM
What kind of applications does this valve work with? I'm seeing a bunch of different ones listed.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 22, 2025, 9:39 PM
This Vickers directional control valve handles applications as diverse as die casting, machine tools, marine environments, presses, and even turbine control systems. It's a versatile piece of equipment.
Question by: Pete W on Jul 18, 2025, 5:11 PM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 liters per minute -- that enough to handle a heavy press application or is it on the edge?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 20, 2025, 6:55 AM
For press applications, 700 liters per minute puts this valve well into the range where most industrial press circuits operate comfortably. It's a two-stage directional control valve, and press work is explicitly listed as one of its intended uses, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't built for. That flow capacity is substantial enough to support high-demand cycles typical in press environments.
