Question by: Shawn M on Apr 4, 2026, 9:24 PM
Wondering if this can handle continuous use in a hydraulic press setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 6, 2026, 9:50 AM
Designed for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits, this two-stage directional control valve can handle the duty cycle demands of presses, along with die casting, machine tools, and other heavy applications.
Question by: Shane L on Mar 22, 2026, 9:51 PM
flow rating on this valve is listed at 700 litres per minute -- is that enough for heavy press or primary metal work, or is it more suited to lighter duty circuits?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 24, 2026, 7:32 PM
For press and primary metal applications, 700 litres per minute is a serious flow capacity. That puts it well within range for demanding industrial circuits in those environments. The DG5V-8 series was built with exactly those kinds of applications in mind, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for.
