Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Roy F on Oct 17, 2025, 10:22 AM
flow rate on this one is listed at 115 liters per minute, that enough to handle a decent-sized press setup or am i gonna be underpowered?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 18, 2025, 5:34 PM
For most press applications, 115 liters per minute puts this valve in solid territory. Press circuits vary widely depending on cylinder bore and cycle speed, but that flow capacity is well within the range commonly needed for mid-size press hydraulics. The valve is actually listed as suitable for press use alongside heavier-duty environments like primary metal processing and die casting, so it's not just capable on paper. As long as your system demand doesn't push past that 115 LPM threshold, you should be in good shape.
Question by: Frank M on Oct 19, 2025, 6:12 AM
Would this valve be a good fit for a machine tool application, or is it better suited for something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 20, 2025, 10:32 AM
It is particularly well-suited for machine tool applications, along with die casting, marine/offshore environments, presses, primary metal, paper, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control systems.
