Question by: Scott T on Mar 18, 2026, 12:31 PM
I'm seeing a lotta different applications listed for this valve. Can you give me an idea what it's really best suited for, like in plain English?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 20, 2026, 10:47 AM
Application-wise, this directional control valve really shines in demanding industrial settings. You're lookin' at things like die casting, foundries, even marine and offshore stuff, plus your standard machine tools and presses. It’s also used in primary metal production and paper manufacturing, along with test equipment, simulation systems, and turbine control.
Question by: Janet F on May 12, 2025, 9:18 AM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 liters per minute, is that enough for press and die casting work or is that more of a light-duty number?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 13, 2025, 3:56 PM
For press and die casting applications, 700 liters per minute is a substantial flow capacity. Those environments tend to demand high-volume, high-cycle performance, and this valve was put together with exactly that kind of use in mind. Die casting and foundry work are both listed application types, so the flow rating lines up with what those use typically push through a directional control valve at this size class.
