Designed for demanding industrial applications, the Vickers KDG4V-3S-2C08N-H-M-U1-H5-60 is a direct-acting proportional valve rated at 8 litres per minute. It is available in three performance levels, ultra, high, and standard, allowing specifiers to match valve performance to application requirements without over-engineering the solution.
Fluorocarbon seals support compatibility with a broad range of hydraulic fluids, making this valve well-suited to the rigorous conditions found in press systems, machine tool circuits, marine and offshore installations, die casting and foundry equipment, primary metal and paper processing, test and simulation rigs, and turbine control systems. Plug-and-play functionality reduces commissioning time, a practical advantage in both new builds and replacement scenarios.

Question by: Dwayne G on Jun 15, 2025, 8:03 PM
Will this work okay in a hydraulic press system?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 17, 2025, 5:30 PM
This Vickers proportional valve is well-suited for the rigorous conditions found in press systems, as well as machine tool circuits, marine and offshore installations, die casting and foundry equipment, primary metal and paper processing, test and simulation rigs, and turbine control systems.
Question by: Glen G on May 24, 2025, 10:10 AM
We run a press line pretty hard and been looking at proportional valves to get better control over the cycle. This Vickers rated for that kind of use, or is it more of a light-duty setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 25, 2025, 1:35 PM
Press systems are actually one of the core applications this valve was built around, along with machine tool circuits, die casting equipment, and a few other demanding environments. Being a direct-acting proportional valve, it gives you precise flow control rather than simple on/off switching, which lines up well with the kind of modulated pressure you'd want on a press cycle. Flow is rated at 8 litres per minute, so as long as that capacity fits your circuit requirements, it's a solid match for the work you're describing.
